Overview
The job title is a significant consideration in your match score. If you’ve held a similar position in the past, match the job title in your resume to the job title of the position you’re applying to. Not every company describes a position in the same way, even though the work may be essentially the same. Therefore, as long as the work you performed in your past role is essentially the same as the one you’re applying to, this isn’t a deceitful practice. If you haven’t had similar job titles before, you can consider including the job title keyword in your summary statement.

The Industry category is a composite of all of your skills and work experience. Applicant tracking systems are taking all of the information in your resume (work history, job titles, and skills) and attempting to see what industry category they best fit in overall. To improve your industry match, address any issues with missing skills and job titles. Personal attributes also known as soft skills, refer to qualities or traits that are often intangible, but can enhance your hard skills. For example, let’s say you’re a Software Developer, the programming language JavaScript is considered a hard skill. Whereas, punctuality is considered a soft skill or personal attribute. Including JavaScript on your resume tells a prospective employer that you may be capable of working on a project that requires that programming language or hard skill, whereas punctuality tells them you may be likely to complete said project on time.

Overview
This indicator first scans the job description to see if it requires management experience. Next your resume is scanned to see if it contains such management experience. Here’s the important part. Many applicant tracking systems will only credit you with management experience if it is contained in your most recent work experience. For example, if your resume indicates you were a manager in a prior role, but not your most recent role, this will not be credited to you and your resume will be flagged as not having the required management experience.
